The Central Scientific Research Institute of Gastroenterology (CSRIG) was a prominent Russian medical and research institution dedicated to the study and treatment of digestive system disorders. Established in 1973 in Moscow, it served as the leading center for gastroenterology, hepatology, and pancreatology in the region. The institute conducted significant clinical trials and developed innovative surgical and therapeutic protocols for complex gastrointestinal conditions. It was particularly renowned for its work on inflammatory bowel disease, chronic liver conditions, and pancreatic disorders. In 2013, CSRIG was merged into the Moscow Clinical Scientific Center (MCSC) named after A.S. Loginov. Today, it continues its operations as a specialized branch within the larger MCSC clinical and research network.
