Centre Européen de Recherches Mauvernay (CERM) is a pharmaceutical research and development organization based in Riom, France, serving as a core component of the Debiopharm Group. Established in 1967 by Jean-Louis Mauvernay, the center focuses on the pharmaceutical development, scale-up, and production of innovative drug candidates. CERM is particularly recognized for its expertise in peptide chemistry and the development of sustained-release delivery systems, such as polylactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) microspheres.
