Centre for Sexuality

The Centre for Sexuality is a Calgary-based non-profit organization that provides comprehensive sexual health services, education, and advocacy. Founded in 1972 as the Calgary Birth Control Association, the organization focuses on normalizing sexual health and supporting healthy relationships through evidence-informed programs. Its services include STI testing, short-term counselling, and specialized initiatives for 2SLGBTQ+ youth, such as Camp fYrefly and the GSA Network. The Centre also operates a Training Centre that provides professional development workshops for organizations to foster inclusive and safe environments. By addressing sexual health across the lifespan, the organization aims to build healthy bodies, healthy relationships, and healthy communities.
