Company intelligence / Profile preview
Centre for Human Drug Research (CHDR) is an independent Dutch early-phase clinical research organization focused on Phase 1 and first-in-human drug development. Based in Leiden, CHDR provides full-service support from study design and regulatory submission through clinical conduct, biomarker analysis, and final study reporting. The organization is known for mechanism-based methodologies, innovative biomarkers, challenge models, and specialized early clinical pharmacology capabilities that help sponsors generate proof-of-pharmacology and pharmacodynamic data. CHDR works across multiple therapeutic areas including neurology, immunology, dermatology, and infectious diseases, and also contributes to education and investigator-led research. Although highly relevant to biotech and pharma clients, CHDR is a service provider rather than a drug-developing biotech with a proprietary therapeutic pipeline.
