CIDEIM (Centro Internacional de Entrenamiento e Investigaciones Médicas) is a leading non-profit research organization based in Cali, Colombia, dedicated to the study and management of infectious diseases. Founded in 1961, the center focuses on neglected tropical diseases, including leishmaniasis, malaria, and tuberculosis, alongside emerging threats like antimicrobial resistance and viral infections such as Dengue and Zika. CIDEIM operates as a multidisciplinary institution, combining basic science, clinical research, and epidemiological surveillance to develop better diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
