reslizumab
Phase 1- Indications
- Inflammatory conditions
Company intelligence / Profile preview
Ception’s lead product, reslizumab—a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting IL‑5—reached Phase IIb/III clinical trials for pediatric eosinophilic esophagitis and was also studied in adult eosinophilic asthma. The FDA granted orphan drug status to reslizumab for pediatric EE. Clinical results showed promise in reducing symptoms and inflammation associated with EE, supporting potential regulatory filings.[6][8] The company also developed an orally available small molecule anti-TNF agent and had a preclinical/early-stage antibiotic program targeting β-lactamase.[5]
