Cereius Radiopharmaceuticals

Cereius was a private, preclinical radiopharmaceutical biotechnology company spun out of Duke University and based in Durham, North Carolina. The company developed targeted radiodiagnostic and radiotherapeutic approaches for cancer, with an emphasis on solid tumor brain metastases and technologies designed to improve radionuclide uptake and retention in tumors while reducing normal-tissue exposure. Its core asset was a modular, site-specific radiolabeling and conjugation chemistry platform that could be paired with antibodies and nanobodies for imaging and therapy. Cereius was acquired by Solve Therapeutics in June 2023, after which its platform and pipeline were incorporated into SolveTx's oncology and theranostics efforts.
