Company intelligence / Profile preview
CEREPLAS was a French medical device company focused on aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery products, best known for its CEREFORM silicone gel-filled breast implants. Its products were marketed for cosmetic breast augmentation, correction of congenital malformation, and post-mastectomy breast reconstruction. The company became subject to regulatory action in 2014 after issues related to sterilization-process validation led to suspension of CE certificates and recall of non-implanted products. Rights to the CEREFORM brand and manufacturing process were later acquired by Euromi Biosciences, which continues to market CEREFORM implants. Corporate registry sources indicate the original CEREPLAS entity was ultimately dissolved and removed from the French commercial register in 2024.
