Company intelligence / Profile preview
Ceretrieve has developed a next-generation aspiration catheter system designed to remove blood clots from the brain during acute ischemic stroke. In a multicenter first-in-human clinical study of 20 patients with AIS due to LVO, the device achieved complete or near-complete perfusion in up to 100% of cases with its second-generation product and an impressive first-pass effect rate of 83%, far exceeding current gold-standard devices. The technology demonstrated safety and efficacy by fully restoring blood flow in a single pass while minimizing distal embolization risk. The company plans further pivotal studies and regulatory submissions targeting commercialization around or after 2026.
