Overview
Preliminary data from Phase 1a first-in-human study showed CSX-1004 is safe and well-tolerated under the conditions tested. The exposure data were predictive of efficacy for blocking fentanyl-induced respiratory depression. In non-human primates, CSX-1004 provided robust and durable protection from life-threatening respiratory depression caused by high doses of fentanyl for at least 3 weeks after a single administration.[3][7]
