CHA BioLab

CHA BioLab (now known as Matica BioLabs) is a South Korean biotechnology company and a subsidiary of CHA Biotech, specializing in the development and manufacturing of advanced cell and gene therapies (CGT). Established in 2018 as a spin-off of CHA Biotech's basic research and CDMO divisions, the company provides comprehensive contract development and manufacturing services for immune cells, stem cells, and organoids. CHA BioLab operates state-of-the-art GMP facilities in Pangyo and was the first in Korea to secure all three major licenses under the Advanced Regenerative Bio Act. The company supports a robust pipeline of regenerative therapies, including treatments for solid tumors, degenerative disc disease, and age-related macular degeneration, leveraging the extensive clinical and research ecosystem of the CHA Health Systems group.
