Originally established in 1991 as the Comprehensive Health Association by the University of Kentucky and a group of local medical providers, the company was acquired by Humana in 2006. It provides managed healthcare services, including Medicare Advantage plans, to members across several U.S. states such as Kentucky, Texas, Arizona, and Hawaii.
