Challenge Aspen

Challenge Aspen is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing adaptive recreational, educational, and cultural experiences for individuals living with cognitive and physical disabilities. Founded in 1995 and based in Snowmass Village, Colorado, the organization offers year-round therapeutic programs including adaptive skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and music camps. A core component of their mission is the Challenge Aspen Military Opportunities (CAMO) program, which provides health and wellness retreats specifically designed for injured veterans and their families. By utilizing adaptive equipment and specialized instruction, the organization fosters independence, confidence, and physical rehabilitation for its participants. Challenge Aspen serves a global community, aiming to eliminate barriers to outdoor recreation for people of all abilities.
