Changchun Changsheng Life Sciences was a China-based vaccine manufacturer focused on prophylactic human vaccines, including rabies, varicella, influenza, hepatitis A, and DPT-related products. The company operated as the main vaccine subsidiary of Changsheng Bio-Technology and had commercialized products in the Chinese market. Its business collapsed after the 2018 vaccine-quality scandal involving falsified production and testing records for rabies vaccine and issues tied to DPT vaccine quality. Chinese regulators revoked its drug manufacturing license, imposed massive penalties, and the company was later declared bankrupt. As a result, it is no longer an active operating biotech company.
