Chapman Molony was a specialized firm of UK and European patent and trademark attorneys that provided intellectual property services to the life sciences, engineering, and technology sectors. Founded in 2003 by Anna Molony and Helga Chapman, the firm established a reputation for its expertise in patent drafting, prosecution, and IP strategy, serving a diverse client base ranging from startups to multinational corporations. The firm eventually rebranded as Chapman IP and was acquired by the global IP firm Murgitroyd & Co in February 2019 for approximately £6.6 million. Following the acquisition, the firm's operations were integrated into Murgitroyd's network, strengthening its presence in the UK's southern technology corridors.
