Chase Pharmaceuticals is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing improved treatments for neurodegenerative disorders, specifically Alzheimer's disease. The company's lead candidate, CPC-201, is a combination of the acetylcholinesterase inhibitor donepezil and the peripherally acting muscarinic antagonist solifenacin. This approach aims to allow for higher, more effective doses of donepezil by mitigating its dose-limiting gastrointestinal side effects. Chase was acquired by Allergan in 2016 to bolster its central nervous system (CNS) pipeline.
