CHD Meridian Healthcare was a leading provider of outsourced onsite healthcare management services for large corporations and government agencies. The company specialized in establishing and operating workplace-based health centers that provided primary care, occupational health, pharmacy services, and wellness programs designed to lower employer costs and improve employee health. Formed through a merger in 1997, it became one of the largest entities in the onsite health industry before being acquired by I-trax in 2004. Its legacy operations eventually became a foundational component of Premise Health following subsequent acquisitions by Walgreens and Water Street Healthcare Partners.
