Chemicon International

Chemicon International was a prominent life science company specializing in the development and manufacture of innovative research reagents, particularly for neuroscience, stem cell research, and drug discovery. Founded in 1970 and headquartered in Temecula, California, the company became a global leader in providing high-quality primary antibodies, cell culture products, and specialized assay kits. In 2003, Chemicon was acquired by Serologicals Corporation for approximately $95 million, which significantly expanded its reach in the biotechnology market.
