ChemZoo

ChemZoo was a cheminformatics company best known for developing and launching ChemSpider, a free-to-access online chemical structure database. The platform aggregated data from hundreds of sources, providing researchers with access to millions of chemical structures and associated properties, patents, and literature. In May 2009, the company was acquired by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), which has since maintained and expanded ChemSpider as a premier resource for the global chemistry community. ChemZoo's primary focus was on enhancing the discoverability and quality of chemical data through crowdsourcing and automated curation.
