Chengdu Jinweike Biotechnology is a clinical-stage biotechnology company based in China, specializing in the development of Adeno-associated virus (AAV) mediated gene therapies. Founded by a team led by Academician Wei Yuquan, the company focuses on treating ophthalmic diseases, rare genetic disorders, and chronic conditions. Its lead candidate, JWK001, is an AAV-based gene therapy targeting neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD).
