Chesapeake Corporation was a leading international supplier of specialty packaging, primarily serving the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and branded consumer markets. The company specialized in the production of folding cartons, leaflets, and labels for pharmaceutical products, operating numerous manufacturing facilities across Europe and North America. Following a strategic shift in the early 2000s, it became one of the world's largest pure-play providers of healthcare packaging. The company provided critical secondary packaging services to many of the top global pharmaceutical companies, ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory requirements. In 2009, the company underwent a financial restructuring and was subsequently acquired by private equity firms, eventually merging into Multi Packaging Solutions (MPS), which is now a part of WestRock.
