Children's Pharmaceuticals (CPI) was a specialty pharmaceutical company dedicated to the development of pediatric-specific formulations of existing medications. The company focused on addressing the off-label use of adult medications in children by creating liquid dosage forms that allow for precise weight-based dosing and improved patient compliance. Their lead product, CPI-101, was a liquid formulation of the calcium channel blocker amlodipine, designed for the treatment of pediatric hypertension. The company's assets and technology were eventually acquired by Silvergate Pharmaceuticals, which was later absorbed into Azurity Pharmaceuticals.
