China Pharmaceuticals International Corp. (formerly traded under the ticker CPHI) was a pharmaceutical company primarily engaged in the development, manufacture, and marketing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and finished dosage forms in China. The company operated through its key subsidiary, Shaanxi Hanjiang Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., which was a significant producer of anthelmintic APIs such as albendazole and flubendazole. Historically, the company maintained a long-standing relationship with Janssen Pharmaceutical (a Johnson & Johnson company) through the Xi'an Janssen joint venture. While the US-listed holding company became inactive and was delisted from the OTC markets, its underlying manufacturing operations in Shaanxi Province remain a notable part of the regional pharmaceutical industry. The company's portfolio focused on anti-parasitic, cardiovascular, and anti-infective therapeutic areas.
