China-Uzbekistan Medicine Technical Park

The China-Uzbekistan Medicine Technical Park is a strategic pharmaceutical and biotechnological hub established through a partnership between the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan. Located in Tashkent, the park focuses on the research, development, and industrial production of modern medicines, traditional herbal remedies, and vaccines. It gained international prominence for its role in the co-development and large-scale production of the ZF-UZ-VAC2001 COVID-19 vaccine. The facility integrates high-tech laboratories with GMP-certified manufacturing lines to serve the Central Asian market. Its operations bridge Chinese pharmaceutical technology with Uzbekistan's rich botanical resources to create a regional center for drug discovery.
