Company intelligence / Profile preview
Chromogenex Technologies was a UK-based medical aesthetics and therapeutic device company that developed and manufactured laser, intense pulsed light, and related energy-based systems for medical and cosmetic procedures. Its product portfolio was used for applications including hair removal, skin rejuvenation, acne treatment, vascular and pigmented lesion treatment, wrinkle reduction, and body contouring. The company was known for early laser innovations, including the N-lite system and the i-Lipo body-contouring range. Chromogenex operated commercially rather than as a drug-development biotech, and its products were marketed to physicians and aesthetic practitioners. The Chromogenex brand and i-Lipo product range were acquired by Energist in early 2016, and the standalone company no longer appears active.
