Chronos developed small molecule drugs targeting neurological diseases of aging using its proprietary phenotypic screening platform. Its lead compound RDC5 advanced to Phase 2 trials in ALS and osteoporosis. In recent years it focused on CNS/neuropsychiatry with Ox1 antagonist (anxiety/addiction) and DAT inhibitor (fatigue/narcolepsy), both at late preclinical stage. The company was acquired by Evgen Pharma in March 2024; some assets will be advanced within Evgen’s pipeline with first clinical readouts expected from combined group around 2026–2027.
