Cipla Quality Chemical Industries Limited (CiplaQCIL) is a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Uganda, specializing in the production of high-quality, affordable essential medicines. The company primarily focuses on antiretrovirals (ARVs) for HIV/AIDS, artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs) for malaria, and treatments for Hepatitis B. As one of the largest pharmaceutical plants in Sub-Saharan Africa, it is WHO-prequalified, allowing it to supply drugs to international agencies and various African governments.
