Clarient Pathology Services was a U.S. oncology-focused pathology and cancer diagnostics company that provided pathology, laboratory, and consultative testing services for hospitals, physicians, and biopharmaceutical clients. Its capabilities were associated with solid-tumor pathology and broader cancer diagnostic workflows, including anatomic pathology and related laboratory interpretation services. The business operated from Aliso Viejo, California and Houston, Texas and was part of the broader Clarient organization. Clarient was owned by GE Healthcare before NeoGenomics acquired Clarient, Inc. and related operations in December 2015. As a standalone company/brand, Clarient Pathology Services no longer appears to operate independently and its activities have been absorbed into NeoGenomics-related oncology diagnostics operations.
