Company intelligence / Profile preview
Clarigo (also known as ClarigoMed) was a molecular diagnostics company based in Mountain View, California, that specialized in developing advanced platforms for non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) and oncology. The company utilized next-generation sequencing (NGS) and proprietary molecular biology techniques to analyze cell-free DNA (cfDNA) with high precision and efficiency. Its primary product, the Clarigo NIPT, was designed to provide accurate screening for fetal chromosomal abnormalities, such as Down syndrome, through a simple maternal blood draw. In May 2018, Clarigo was acquired by Celula, Inc., a diagnostic company focused on single-cell analysis and liquid biopsy, to bolster its diagnostic offerings in reproductive health and cancer monitoring. The acquisition integrated Clarigo's cfDNA technology into Celula's broader diagnostic portfolio.
