Company intelligence / Profile preview
Claris Lifesciences was an Indian pharmaceutical company best known for developing, manufacturing, and marketing sterile generic injectables, infusion products, and related hospital-care pharmaceuticals. The business built capabilities across multiple injectable delivery formats including bags, vials, ampoules, and glass bottles, and served hospitals and institutional customers in India and international markets. Historically, Claris operated through a specialty injectables business and an infusion business, the latter contributed to a joint venture with Otsuka and Mitsui. The company later divested major operating assets, including Claris Injectables to Baxter, and the legal entity now appears to survive mainly as an amalgamated legacy/holding entity within the broader Claris group rather than as an independent operating biotech pipeline company. It is therefore healthcare-related and commercially established historically, but not an active R&D-stage biotech company with a disclosed drug pipeline.
