Clarus Therapeutics developed and commercialized JATENZO (testosterone undecanoate), which received FDA approval in March 2019 as the first and only FDA-approved oral softgel testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for adult males with testosterone deficiency. JATENZO launched in February 2020. The company went out of business with its liquidation plan becoming effective on February 28, 2023. Subsequently, Tolmar acquired JATENZO.
