Clearant was a biotechnology company focused on the development and commercialization of pathogen inactivation technologies for biological products. The company's core technology, the Clearant Process, utilized ionizing radiation to sterilize human tissue allografts, blood components, and protein-based pharmaceuticals. This process was designed to eliminate viruses, bacteria, fungi, and spores while preserving the structural integrity and biological function of the treated material.
