Clinical Research Centre

Clinical Research Malaysia (CRM) is a non-profit company wholly owned by the Ministry of Health Malaysia, established in 2012 to position the country as a preferred global destination for industry-sponsored research (ISR). The organization functions as an enabler and facilitator for the clinical research ecosystem, providing end-to-end support for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. CRM manages a network of over 30 Clinical Research Centres (CRCs) located within government hospitals, offering services such as feasibility studies, investigator selection, and study coordinator placement. By streamlining regulatory and administrative processes, CRM aims to increase the speed and reliability of clinical trial delivery in Malaysia. The company plays a pivotal role in human capital development, training investigators and research staff to meet international Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
