Clinical Research Investments

Clinical Research Investments was a U.S. clinical research services company that operated as a parent organization for a portfolio of site-network and trial-enablement businesses supporting clinical trial design and delivery. In March 2020, the company officially rebranded as Accel Clinical Services, reflecting a broader operating structure across research sites, trial connections, patient communities, provider communities, and research management services. Its operating footprint focused on community-based and specialty clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas, including access to a Phase 1 unit and a multi-site network in the southeastern United States. The business served pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sponsors through site operations, patient recruitment/connectivity, and research management capabilities. The renamed Accel Clinical Services was later acquired by Alcanza Clinical Research in 2023.
