Clinical Trials Center Aachen (CTC-A) is a central service facility of the Faculty of Medicine at RWTH Aachen University, operating as a full-service Academic Research Organization (ARO) and Clinical Research Organization (CRO). The center provides comprehensive support for the planning, management, and execution of clinical trials, ranging from Phase 1 to Phase 4, as well as medical device studies. CTC-A offers specialized services in project management, clinical monitoring, data management, biostatistics, and regulatory affairs for both investigator-initiated trials (IITs) and industry-sponsored research. By maintaining high quality standards according to ICH-GCP, the center facilitates the translation of innovative medical research into clinical practice within the University Hospital RWTH Aachen and its partner network.
