Clinimetrics Research Associates was a full-service contract research organization (CRO) that provided clinical trial management and product development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. Founded in 1994, the company specialized in Phase I through IV clinical trials, offering expertise in clinical monitoring, data management, biostatistics, and regulatory affairs. The firm was particularly recognized for its therapeutic focus in cardiovascular, oncology, and central nervous system disorders. In 2001, Clinimetrics was acquired by Omnicare, Inc. to strengthen its clinical research division, Omnicare Clinical Research, and was subsequently integrated into their global operations.
