ClinTrials BioResearch was a prominent contract research organization (CRO) specializing in preclinical safety assessment and clinical research services. Based in Senneville, Quebec, the company provided essential drug development services, including toxicology, pharmacokinetic analysis, and laboratory support to global pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms. Originally founded as Bio-Research Laboratories in 1965, it was acquired by ClinTrials Research Inc. in 1996 and subsequently became part of Inveresk Research Group in 2001. Following the 2004 merger between Inveresk and Charles River Laboratories, the ClinTrials BioResearch operations were fully integrated into Charles River's Preclinical Services division. Today, the Senneville facility remains one of the largest and most significant preclinical research sites in North America, operating as a core part of the Charles River global network.
