Clovis Oncology was a commercial-stage biotechnology company focused on acquiring, developing, and commercializing innovative anti-cancer agents in the United States, Europe, and other international markets. The company's lead product, Rubraca (rucaparib), is an oral small molecule inhibitor of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) approved for the treatment of specific types of ovarian and prostate cancers. Clovis also advanced a pipeline of targeted therapies, including FAP-2286, a peptide-targeted radiopharmaceutical candidate targeting fibroblast activation protein (FAP). Following financial challenges, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in late 2022 and subsequently sold its key assets, including Rubraca and its radiopharmaceutical programs, to other pharmaceutical entities.
