Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and mid-coast Maine. The system operates a comprehensive network of medical facilities, including its flagship 250-bed regional referral hospital, Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, alongside critical access hospitals Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. It also supports the Central Maine Medical Group, the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute, and the Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center. In February 2026, Central Maine Healthcare officially joined the Prime Healthcare Foundation, expanding its resources and clinical capabilities to better serve its regional communities.
