Company intelligence / Profile preview
CMIC Shift Zero was a Japan-based oncology-focused contract research organization within the CMIC Group. The company was established in January 2016 as a joint venture between CMIC HOLDINGS and Shift Zero, and provided clinical development support services in oncology, drawing on networks of oncology opinion leaders and collaborations with research groups. Its business centered on project management, monitoring, clinical operations, and broader lifecycle support for pharmaceutical products rather than development of proprietary therapeutics. CMIC Shift Zero was fully integrated into CMIC Co., Ltd. effective October 1, 2023, with CMIC as the surviving company, so it no longer operates as a standalone active company.
