CNAC Saturn

CNAC Saturn is a Dutch-registered subsidiary of the China National Agrochemical Corporation (CNAC), which is itself a unit of the state-owned enterprise ChemChina. The entity was primarily established as the acquisition vehicle for ChemChina's $43 billion takeover of the Swiss seeds and pesticides giant Syngenta in 2017. As a key holding company within the Syngenta Group structure, CNAC Saturn plays a critical role in the management of global agrochemical assets, focusing on crop protection products and seeds. Its operations are central to China's strategic efforts to enhance food security and modernize its agricultural biotechnology sector through the integration of advanced global R&D and manufacturing capabilities.
