Company intelligence / Profile preview
CoAxia developed the NeuroFlo and FloControl catheters to improve cerebral perfusion in patients with acute ischemic stroke and related conditions. The flagship SENTIS trial showed safety and some long-term improvement signals but did not meet its primary efficacy endpoint. The company obtained limited regulatory approvals (FDA HDE, CE Mark) but struggled to secure broader US approval before being acquired by Zoll Medical in mid–2013. Offices closed shortly thereafter.[7]
