It focuses on research, registration, importation/manufacturing and marketing/distribution of prescription medicines across major therapeutic areas including cardiovascular disease, oncology/cancer care, diabetes/metabolic disorders, central nervous system disorders (neurology/psychiatry), internal medicine/general practice and vaccines. The company also offers antibiotics and analgesics/painkillers as well as medical devices. It collaborates with international partners for licensing specialized drugs for local production. Cobel Darou holds significant market share in Iran’s pharma sector and has expanded into distribution through subsidiaries like AdoraTeb Distribution Company. It does not appear to develop novel NCEs or biologics itself but rather focuses on bringing established therapies to the Iranian market via partnerships or licensing agreements.
