Cogent Technology is a UK-based contract manufacturer focused on electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, electromechanical assembly, and full device build, with a particularly strong presence in medical devices. The company operates an 80,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Felixstowe and markets itself as an ISO 13485- and ISO 9001-certified, FDA-approved CMO supporting MedTech and other regulated sectors. Its services span PCBA, device build, testing, clean-room assembly, cabling, productionisation, medical device consultancy, and service/repair. Cogent does not appear to be a drug-development biotech or pharma company; rather, it is a commercial-stage medical device manufacturing and services business. Cogent was acquired in January 2024 and continues to operate within the Heathpatch Group alongside CamdenBoss.
