Cole Managed Vision was a leading provider of managed vision care programs in the United States, specializing in vision benefit administration for employers, unions, and health plans. The company provided access to a comprehensive network of independent and retail-based eye care providers, facilitating routine eye exams and the purchase of corrective eyewear. As a subsidiary of Cole National Corporation, it operated alongside well-known retail brands such as Pearle Vision and Target Optical. In 2004, Cole National was acquired by Luxottica Group, leading to the integration of Cole Managed Vision into Luxottica's EyeMed Vision Care division. This consolidation significantly expanded EyeMed's market share in the vision insurance and managed care sector.
