Company intelligence / Profile preview
Columbia Laboratories was a U.S. specialty pharmaceutical company focused on women's health and drug delivery. The company developed and commercialized prescription and over-the-counter products, including progesterone-based products such as CRINONE, and used its proprietary Bioadhesive Delivery System to enable sustained local delivery of drugs over 12 to 72 hours. In April 2015, Columbia Laboratories changed its corporate name to Juniper Pharmaceuticals as part of a strategic repositioning around women's health and related services. Juniper was later acquired by Catalent in 2018, so Columbia Laboratories no longer operates as an independent company under that name. The requested name therefore refers to a historical biotech/pharma company rather than an active standalone business.
