Colorado Regional Health Information Organization

The Colorado Regional Health Information Organization (CORHIO) is a non-profit health information exchange (HIE) that facilitates the secure electronic sharing of patient health information among healthcare providers in Colorado. By providing real-time access to clinical data, including lab results, imaging reports, and discharge summaries, CORHIO helps clinicians make more informed decisions and improves care coordination. In 2021, CORHIO merged with Arizona-based HIE Health Current to form Contexture, creating one of the largest regional health information organizations in the United States. The organization serves thousands of providers, hospitals, and health plans, aiming to enhance patient safety and reduce healthcare costs through advanced data interoperability. Its services also support public health reporting and population health management initiatives across the Rocky Mountain region.
