Colorectal Connection Management

Colorectal Connection Management (CCM) was a medical technology company and a subsidiary of Live Tissue Connect, which operated under the parent organization CSMG Technologies. Founded to commercialize the 'Live Tissue Connect' (LTC) platform, the company focused on applying high-frequency radiofrequency (RF) tissue welding technology to colorectal surgical procedures. This innovative approach was designed to fuse soft biological tissues, such as the intestines, as an alternative to traditional mechanical closure methods like sutures and staples. The technology originated from the E.O. Paton Electric Welding Institute in Ukraine and received CE Mark approval for its VAD.400 generator system. Despite performing thousands of successful surgeries in Eastern Europe and establishing a licensing agreement with ConMed Corporation, the company failed to achieve sustainable commercial operations in the United States. Colorectal Connection Management became inactive following the SEC's revocation of its parent company's securities registration in 2012.
