Company intelligence / Profile preview
Columbia River Mental Health Services is a private nonprofit community behavioral health provider based in Vancouver, Washington, serving Clark County and the broader Southwest Washington region. Founded in 1942, it provides outpatient mental health care, psychiatry, substance use disorder treatment, co-occurring disorder services, peer and recovery support, mobile health programs, forensic housing and recovery peer services, and Program of Assertive Community Treatment services. The organization is healthcare-focused rather than drug-development-focused, with its activities centered on direct delivery of behavioral health and opioid treatment services rather than a therapeutic pipeline. After a 2025 operational crisis and temporary service disruption, CRMHS continued operating and announced a leadership transition as well as a planned program transition under the Cowlitz Indian Tribe's Health and Human Services Department. It remains one of the oldest community behavioral health providers in Southwest Washington.
