Commit Biologics has developed a novel immunotherapy platform that harnesses the complement system to target and kill cancer cells or immune cells involved in autoimmune disease. The company’s lead technology, the modular BiCE™ platform, combines single domain antibodies that engage C1q with conventional monoclonal antibodies targeting disease-relevant antigens. This approach aims to create new classes of therapeutics with enhanced efficacy by leveraging both direct cytolytic activity and immune cell recruitment. The company recently exited stealth mode with €16 million in seed funding but has not yet reported clinical results.[1][2][3][4]
